bored at work
such a slow week. couldn't be more relieved to finally be relaxing, but i don't really have any projects to bill my hours to. i guess i'll waste some time talking about skincare products. i feel like skincare is such an important regimen to have....and while i technically have one, but i don't practice it as religiously as i should....
wash: philosophy purity or dior creme moussante nettoyante magique. if i'm sans-makeup and think i need a more gentle wash, i'll use philosophy. otherwise, the dior. i really do tend to lean more towards the dior though, there's something about foaming cleaners that make my skin feel so much cleaner. neutrogena's daily scrub is nice too. i'm usually averse to the idea of drugstore skincare, but this stuff smells so citrusy and happy i just couldn't resist buying it!

exfoliate: trish mcevoy beta hydroxy pads. i will warn you that if you don't use these fast enough...they will dry out. BUT they're a go-to for me if i ever have really nasty skin days or come home and feel gross after wearing foundation all day (which i usually' don't do).
tone: i've been using the same product for QUITE a long time- yonka lotion for normal/dry skin. GREAT aromatherapy brand i've been using for a while. it's a pretty light pink color and most importantly, is applied via a pump spray. perfect for getting that fine mist of toner on.

moisturize: yonka elastine nuit. it's a night cream, but on the light side so i use it as my general moisturizer. the smell reminds me of my mom (for no reason as she's never used it) so i find it comforting. i actually use quite a few of their different moisturizers and creams and find that they're all pretty great. this is my go-to favorite, though.

serum: trish mcevoy beauty booster serum. i got into the trish mcevoy regimen a while back and while i didn't stick with it completely, i have continued to use some of their products (as you can tell from above). the serum is another trish product i've continued using. i can't say i experience much of a difference if i don't use it....but my mom slabs thousands of dollars worth of serums on her face and has a complexion younger than mine....so i'll continue to attempt to follow suit.
