five years and counting...

as of today, dave and i have been together for 5 years. i signed on to write a momentous blog for this momentous occasion....but i don't really have anything momentous to say and don't actually think the occasion is particularly momentous anyways.

we have only been dating 5 years, which although lengthy for most early 20's-ers is actually nothing in context with the rest of the world. congratulations for anniversaries (at least ours) are a bit inappropriate as we have not done anything worth praise or commendation. well maybe for dave, since i know i'm quite a handful to put up with. ;)

but honestly, it's been a really easy, silly-spirited ride- and i think that's the way it's supposed to be. sure every day is not going to be easy and we haven't experienced an inkling of the life issues that we will eventually...but like all things in life, at the end of the day we can laugh and get over it. i think after five years there's no real use in expending any more words, so i'll post a few pics of us over the years.

and stop asking me where the ring is. ask him. :P
