macaron glace?!?!




serious eats has featured a couple posts on some montreal establishments recently. which sucks because i'm probably never really going to go there...

point g is a montreal...bakery/gelateria...is i guess what you would call it. and they have these amazing macaron glace=french macaron + gelato! yes. i just came in my pants!!! as if those brilliant colors weren't enough to entice you, they come in flavors that are just as vibrant: pear-ginger, caramel, pistachio, lavender-blueberry, citrus, chocolate-coconut, grapefruit, chocolate-hazelnut, creme brulee, chocolate-passionfruit, maple, dark chocolate....so on and so forth. sandwiched between these delectable morsels is gelato in just-as-inspiring flavors: maple, mojito, rum-raisin, strawberry, and get this....FOIE GRAS!

sigh.....i wish DC's food scene was as diverse and exciting.
