twenty pounds!



i've finally decided to confront the chubbiness that has been plaguing me since i started college. rather, i have been forced to confront it via my parents who decided it was getting pretty hopeless. dad returned from korea a few weeks ago with an herbal weight-loss program, for lack of a better name. he went through a lot of trouble and paid a lot of money...so i have to follow the regimen:

3 day detox period....
breakfast: herbal tonic followed by vitamin shake
lunch: vitamin shake
dinner: herbal tonic followed by vitamin shake

then for the next month...
breakfast: herbal tonic followed by 1/2 portion of a normal breakfast
lunch: 1/2 portion of a normal lunch
dinner: herbal tonic followed by vitamin shake

for the 2nd month....
begin to eat normally while taking some herbal pellets 3x a day to stabilize any yo-yo effects.

the foodie in me has been crying all morning. i should probably unsubscribe to all my food blogs for a while too.....weight loss is all a matter of willpower. i have not had any regarding food for a long time. but i know i am extremely enabled with willpower, because i was able to quit smoking so easily. I CAN DO IT. i hope??

i also know caloric intake vs outake is the key to losing weight, and that i really need to work out. i will, it's just with the amount of time i have and the amount of weight i've gained...i really need to take some drastic measures.

god give me the strength to follow this through.
